Today is our annual Commitment Sunday. This event provides an opportunity for the congregation to present our Time & Talent Sheets and Grace (financial) Pledges at the Altar, which supports our mission and ministry for the coming year. They may also be placed in the offering plate or turned into the church office.

As we head towards Commitment Sunday, we will have weekly temple talks on the theme of stewardship and gratitude for God’s goodness at work through Holy Trinity. Then on 23 November, as part of worship, we invite everyone to bring your completed plan for giving, where time will be allotted to bring it to the front and present your upcoming annual financial commitment and yourself to God. It will be a day of gratitude and thanks to God for all He has done.

In 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 it says, “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every abundance, so that by always having enough of everything you may share abundantly in every good work.” Thank you for sharing your gifts, and thank God for His goodness toward us!
