Backpack Food Sunday

Today is Backpack Food Sunday. It is held the 3rd Sunday of each month and provides weekend meals for needy children at Edwins Elementary School. Bring individually-packed nutritious food items to the lobby of the Christian Life Center. Today at 5:30pm in the CLC we are hosting a soup and bread supper prior to our 6:30pm mid-week service (and all Wednesdays during Lent except Ash Wednesday and Holy Week). As we journey to the Cross during this season of Lent, let us once again come together for fellowship before we gather for worship. You do not need to bring anything. However, if you would like to bring a favorite pot of soup, contact Kristi. Come join us for soup, fellowship, reflection, and inspiration.

The HTLC Church Council meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00pm to discuss finances, committee activities, upcoming events, and other church business. All congregation members and visitors are invited to attend. If you are interested in being a board member or team lead, please ask a pastor or one of our current board members. Nominees are accepted in the Fall for a variety of alternating 2-year positions.

Ladies, join us for another awesome food and game day at 2pm as we play bunko, an easy-to-learn dice game. The cost is $15 per person and includes food, drinks, dessert, and a great time of fellowship and fun. The sign-up sheet is located in the CLC. All proceeds go to the church general fund.

VBS Bundlet Fundraiser

Order delicious bundtlet cakes for our VBS fundraiser. There are 8 amazing flavors for $7 each. You can buy them for yourself and family, sell bundtlets to your neighbors/friends, and/or offer them at your place of employment. You can also simply make a cash donation to VBS. Mary Martha Quilters

The quilters group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 9am in the Upper Building. Mary/Martha meets for fun and fellowship as we create beautiful quilts that are donated to benefit Lutheran World Relief and other charitable organizations. No prior quilting experience is needed! Mary Martha also made numerous face masks for the congregation to use during our worship services.
