Ruth Circle meets today and the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30am for fun Bible study and great fellowship. Ruth Circle is intended for the non-working woman. We use the “Together Magazine” and “Gather Magazine” provided by the Lutheran ministry for Bible study on various topics. All ladies are invited to join us as we study God’s Word and grow closer together in Christian fellowship.

New Pastor Meeting and Potluck

Today come meet Pastor Tony, an amazing pastoral candidate for our church. A potluck meal will be provided. The congregation has an opportunity to meet Pastor Tony as we begin the next chapter of Holy Trinity. Tomorrow everyone also has the opportunity to hear him preach at our Sunday service, then the congregation votes on whether to accept him as our next shepherd.

We are again collecting Lutheran World Relief (LWR) personal care Kits. For numerous years the Women's Organization has asked the congregation to support them in donating items for the LWR kits, and the response has been amazing. Bring individually-packed nutritious food items to the lobby of the Christian Life Center. The HTLC Church Council meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00pm to discuss finances, committee activities, upcoming events, and other church business. All congregation members and visitors are invited to attend. If you are interested in being a board member or team lead, please ask a pastor or one of our current board members. Nominees are accepted in the Fall for a variety of alternating 2-year positions.

Christ the King Sunday

Today we celebrate Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the church year. Initially instituted during in 1925 by Pope Pius XI on the last Sunday in October in response to the increasing secularism of countries worldwide, since 1970 Christ the King Day has since been observed on the last Sunday before Advent. The purpose of this festival is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the “King of all kings,” celebrating Christ’s messianic kingship and sovereign rule over all creation. Mission Gift Fair

Join us for our annual Mission Gift Fair this morning in the CLC after worship” Last year everyone contributed more than $13,000 to numerous charities. Catalogues and order forms will be available to fill out or take home. The team will also mail catalogues to those unable to attend church in person.
