School Supply Donations

The ladies of Abigail Circle are collecting school supplies for Children in Crisis and Opportunity Place. You can put donations in the CLC through 28 July. Both organizations will be sending children to Holy Trinity on 1 August to “shop” for free school supplies prior to our Rummage Sale. If you would prefer to donate cash or gift cards, a volunteer can purchase supplies for you. Please help us support these two worthwhile organizations. Backpack Food Sunday

Today is Backpack Food Sunday. It is held the 3rd Sunday of each month and provides weekend meals for needy children at Edwins Elementary School. Bring individually-packed nutritious food items to the lobby of the Christian Life Center. A specific shopping list is available at the church, and monetary donations are also welcome so food items can be purchased.

Worship with Communion

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion during our 8:15am and 11:00am services, and today our children will be singing at both services. We invite all baptized Christians who believe that our Lord is truly present in His Body and Blood to join us at the altar to receive the bread and wine. This service opens with confession and forgiveness, followed by hymns, Bible readings, a sermon, the Apostles Creed, and a congregational prayer.

The quilters group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 9am in the Upper Building for fun and fellowship as we create beautiful quilts that are donated to benefit Lutheran World Relief and other charitable organizations. Eve Circle meets today, and all are welcome! Eve Circle is intended for all ages and specifically designed for the working woman. We are a gathering of women of faith who gain spiritual and emotional strength through fellowship, bible study, and community service. The group meets at circle members’ homes the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. Come join us.

Lutheran World Relief Workday

Attention ladies, teens, and pre-teens! Come join us today from 9:00am till 2:00pm in the Upper Room for a day of learning, fun, and fellowship. You will learn to easily make a Lutheran World Relief mission quilt and see the beautiful results! We will break at noon for lunch provided by the Holy Trinity WELCA board. We will also be assembling LWR Personal Care Kits and School kits. Make a positive impact on those less fortunate than us.

Join us for our annual Rummage and Bake Sale today (8am - 5pm) and tomorrow (7am - 3pm) in the CLC. Starting on 14 July, you may begin bringing items and placing them along the north wall of the CLC. We will also be selling plants and baked goods, so food donations are appreciated in individually-sealed packages brought the final 2-3 days before the rummage sale. All proceeds will benefit our Sunday School programs.
