Mission Gift Fair

Holy Trinity’s Mission Gift Fair will be held today from 9am till 2pm in the Christian Life Center, and some of our women’s circles are helping coordinate it. Additionally, our older youth are assisting with the various games and also working the local barnyard booth.

The Mission Gift Fair is an annual event held in November each year that benefits local, national, and international projects for people and communities in need through “alternative gift giving”, such as school supplies, hunger relief, teacher training, medicine, honeybees, or livestock.  Gifts assist individuals and families in our community, nation, and places as diverse as India, Africa, and South America.  Donations can be self-initiated or made on behalf of friends, family, or loved ones. During last year’s gift fair, we raised over $7,500 for 8 different missions.

This year our theme is “Thankful Harvest,” and we are focusing our several missions, including Sharing and Caring, Backpack program, CALM, Youth Village, Project Promise, Global Barnyard, Lutheran Disaster Relief, and Good Gifts Agriculture. We also have a sweet shop and a gift shop with handmade items for sale. Come join us in our “Thankful Harvest” by supporting our local, national, and international missions. This is a great way to help those in need.
